Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,684 to $1,884 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Phoenix, AZ. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness in a Home Health setting, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in AZ required to start the assignment. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant required. Proof of current CPR/BLS certification required. Current driver’s license required. Reliable transportation and vehicle insurance required. Local travel between patient homes required. Ability to perform physical job demands including heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, prolonged standing and walking. Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team. Graduate of an accredited PTA program with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy required. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with infection control and universal precautions. Preferred: previous Home Health experience and experience using common home health documentation systems. Assignment Details Facility type: Home Health. Shift name: Days. Schedule: 5x8. Role: Physical Therapist Assistant working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include administering treatment plans, documentation of patient status, assisting with scheduling and departmental tasks, and performing non-complex therapeutic modalities within scope of practice.
