Marriott International, a global leader in the hospitality industry with over 8,000 properties across 139 countries, is seeking an Events Concierge to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our guest experiences by offering personalized service and managing event details meticulously. The ideal candidate for this position will have a robust understanding of event management within the hospitality sector, possess exceptional organizational skills, and display a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Coordinate and oversee all on-site details for executing group events including banquets, meetings, and other events to ensure client satisfaction. Act as the primary point of contact for event organizers, providing timely and effective communication before, during, and after events. Manage event set-up, food and beverage service, and audiovisual equipment requirements. Handle guest inquiries and troubleshoot any issues to ensure guest satisfaction with event experiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including culinary, housekeeping, and front desk to ensure seamless execution of events. Maintain detailed event notes, including client feedback, to contribute to post-event reporting and continuous improvement efforts. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines High attention to detail Experience with event management software and tools Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred Certification in Food Safety and Handling
