Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the companys financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the companys shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.

The Enterprise Compromised Data (ECD) team is responsible for leading the assessment, investigation, and mitigation of compromised data incidents across the Wells Fargo enterprise, including ensuring data breach notifications to government regulators and individuals are handled appropriately. As a leader within the Enterprise Compromised Data team, you will lead a team of Business Initiatives Consultants responsible for strategizing, planning and executing a variety of business initiatives including the Target Operating Model for the Center of Excellence and assist the manager to oversee reporting for the Enterprise Compromised Data program.

This position will report directly to the Enterprise Compromised Data Sr. Business Initiatives Leader and will work with key stakeholders enterprise wide.

As a leader within the Enterprise Compromised Data team, you will:


  • Lead the Enterprise Compromised Data strategy including planning and executing a variety of initiatives that are large in scope (enterprise wide impacts) and complex in nature. Includes playing a key role in leading activities for the development and planning for the Target Operating Model for the Enterprise Compromised Data Program
  • Coordinate with Enterprise Project Management Office program manager and Enterprise Process Engineering team to act as a program subject matter expertise for processes, procedures and program information. Responsible for strategy for ensuring enterprise partners and stakeholders are aware of program impacts/changes and procedural changes resulting from initiatives
  • Create and develop various presentations for Enterprise Compromised Data Leader and management for a variety of strategic initiatives, Committee updates and Leadership reporting
  • Create materials for incident debriefs consulting with Enterprise Compromised Data incident response leaders, subject matter experts and partners
  • Interpret other lines of business policies and how they might apply or impact the Enterprise Compromised Data team processes and programs and connect the dots across the business to ensure all procedures, training and awareness has been performed
  • Define and oversee standards and requirements for reporting in coordination with Compliance, Audit and Legal
  • Coordinate with Independent Risk Management to define Enterprise Compromised Data Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and thresholds to risk appetite statements and risk taxonomies
  • Oversee customized reports and ad hoc analysis for leadership and/or partners
  • Maintain and oversee Enterprise Compromised Data SharePoint site and monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports
  • Participate in various compliance projects and participate in audit activities including the gathering of data requests, reporting and drafting responses as well as completing business letters and progress reports
  • Develop a team with a strong working knowledge of Enterprise Compromised Data and the key risk controls that apply
  • Develop a team that serves as day-to-day subject matter experts with proven knowledge of Enterprise Compromised Data program, services, processes, systems, regulations, partners and customers it serves

      The successful candidate must be a motivated self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage a rapidly changing environment. The candidate will closely partner with ECD Incident Response Leader and partners, providing expertise and consulting for projects and initiatives with moderate to high risk. The candidate will evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and controls and may analyze business and/or system changes to determine impact. The candidate will develop reports detailing findings and will work to develop business cases to influence senior management on the need for controls to mitigate risk and ensure regulations are followed.Required Qualifications

      • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
      • 3+ years of leadership experience

        Desired Qualifications

        • Experience developing and implementing project level processes, procedures and performance metrics
        • Ability to identify inefficiencies, opportunities to streamline business processes, and implement change

          Other Desired Qualifications


          • Experience evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, products and internal controls; and identifying issues resulting from internal and/or external compliance examinations
          • Expertise implementing business initiatives, processes or programs particularly for incident response teams
          • Experience in project management fundamentals and partnering with GPMO offices and assigned project managers from GPMO's
          • Experience with Ecosystems, from business case inception to funding and tracking budgets
          • Experience in overseeing data mining, analytics and reporting activities including dashboard development and Tableau reporting services
          • Ability to understand and work with data, including creating alignment among various data sources, developing trends, and creating risk-based analytics from multiple information sources
          • Experience preparing materials for and interacting with regulatory agencies and operating committees
          • Financial services industry experience with product knowledge for consumers and businesses
          • Strong conflict management skills that lead to increased collaboration and engagement in challenging situations
          • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
          • Knowledge across enterprise risk management framework, including: risk identification, risk appetite and strategy, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics and governance
          • Experience in multiple areas of operational risk management, including regulatory compliance, financial crimes risk, and risks related to the consumer protection and general banking regulations
          • Experience in developing, executing and overseeing control expectations and standards
          • Experience in conducting risk assessments, and assessing the adequacy of policies, procedures, processes and controls
          • Knowledge of MRs, SHRP tool and associated controls. Understanding expectations of SHRP remediations including corrective actions and milestones
          • Ability to adapt to changing and competing priorities
          • Strong organizational and operational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to strict deadlines in a fast paced environment
          • Ability to effectively multi-task and successfully work on several unrelated projects at the same time
          • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; must be able to effectively communicate and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, competing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
          • A strong and effective manager and leader, capable of attracting, mentoring, retaining and promoting talented and productive staff
