Job Description Austin Staffing Inc., is hiring immediately
Human Resource Generalist for the Client in Arizona location. HR
Generalist will be working under the supervision of President,
Human Resource Generalist supports operations of worksites and
administers the human resource functions. Human Resource Generalist
oversees the Recruitment, Employee Relations, Training and
Development, Benefits, Compliance, Termination, Safety, consults
with management on strategic planning, serves as a link between
management and employees and supervises Human Resource Department.
Responsibilities: Employee Relations: Handle employee disciplinary
actions and advise management in appropriate resolution of employee
relation issues Promote positive and supportive relationship among
employees and between managers and employees Recruitment and
Selection: Recruit and hire new employees based on the hiring
manager---s needs Contract with outside vendors to provide
temporary employees Prepare and update job descriptions Training
and Development: Administer new hire orientation to educate company
culture, policies and procedures and benefits Develop and implement
employee and management training Benefits: Support and provide
recommendations to Corporate Benefits Manager Prepare invoices for
payment Compliance: Work with the third party to develop and
maintain affirmative action program, file EEO-1 annually, maintain
other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations
Develop, recommend, implement and maintain Corporate and Divisional
Handbook on policies and procedures Minimize risk and liability by
ensuring applicable local, state and federal employment laws are
adhered to Termination: Prepare employee separation notices and
related documentation and conduct exit interviews to determine
reason behind separations Partner with the Corporate Counsel in
ensuring the issue is being evaluated appropriately and handled in
the best manner possible to avoid litigation. Safety: Work with the
Safety Management team to process Worker---s Compensation or
Accident claims and manage worker---s compensation cases Other:
Assist with work permit for future projects and employment visas
Provide counseling, advice and recommendations to assist both
management and employees covering HR related questions and concerns
Administer performance review to ensure effectiveness, compliance
and equity within organization. Supervise Human Resource Department
Prepare/provide HR monthly reports to Presidents Qualifications:
Must possess strong interpersonal skills and counseling skills in
dealing with employees at all levels of the company, including
influencing and relationship-building across functions Must be
open-minded and adaptable to a new change, environment and
suggestions Ability to quickly learn new information and software
system Must possess in-depth knowledge of federal and state
employment laws Ability to mentor, motivate, influence and persuade
others Must be able to put the right resources in the appropriate
positions Possess strong oral and written communication skills Must
possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate
professionally in written responses to emails Ability to respond
effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints Must be
able to respond and follow up on questions and inquiries from
internal and external customers and strive for the customer
satisfaction Must maintain confidentiality of employee and company
records and information Ability to avoid unwarranted preferential
treatment and ensure equality among employees Required to travel
frequently both in domestic and international Education: Bachelor's
Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or
similar degree Certification(s): Certificate of SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP,
PHR, SPHR or GPHR (preferred certificates) Knowledge: Japanese
Language (Read, Write and Speak) (Preferred, not required) Computer
Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
(Required) Reporting (EEO-1, ad-hoc, etc.) ADP WFN (Required)
Cornerstone (Preferred) ICIMs (Preferred) Experience: Minimum of 7
years Human Resource experiences 3-5 years of Human Resource
supervisory experiences Experience supporting diverse employee
population in multiple geographic locations, domestically and
internationally
