As part of our global team, you can build technology solutions in our six growth areas - 5G, data centers, autonomous driving, the Internet of Things, electric vehicles, and artificial intelligence and machine learning.Job Description:Support analog validation and characterization of new 32-bit microcontrollers.As an analog characterization engineer, you will be involved in the characterization of the analog IPs embedded in our 32-bit microcontrollers to extract the electrical performances mandatory for the specification of the product datasheet. You will also contribute to the development of our analog/parametric test infrastructure.You will work with team members located in Chandler (Arizona), Bangalore (India), Nantes (France) and other functional team members around the world.

• Actively participate with New Product Development teams to release new 32-bit microcontrollers.
• Strong collaboration (worldwide) with the Analog Design and Integration, Application, and Product Engineering teams
• Definition of the validation plans for analog IPs to be characterized (ADC, DAC, PLL, OPAMP...)
• Specify schematic for Analog Characterization hardware
• Develop appropriate bench automation using NI Tools (LabView / TestStand)
• Debug new products with Design teams to identify root cause issues
• Develop data processing from raw data
• Analysis of measurement results, correlations with Design simulations and writing of characterization reports for each IP
• Electrical performance specification of the analog IPs for the product datasheetRequirements/Qualifications:
  • 12.5 + years of related work experience
  • BSEE/BSCE minimum, MSEE/MSCE preferred from an accredited engineering school
  • Very good knowledge of analog electronics
  • Strong experience on measurement methods and expert in the use of lab equipment such as: oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, vector network analyzer, arbitrary wave generator, multimeter, current and voltage source...
  • Strong experience in the characterization of analog IPs: ADC, DAC, PLL, analog comparator, crystal oscillator, Opamp...
  • Experience in development of equipment drivers and automatic test benches under Labview/TestStand environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Debug)
  • Programming skills on Embedded C and automation programming languages (NI LabView/TestStand, Python, script languages)
  • Data analysis tools like JMP, Excel ---
  • Hardware: be able to review schematics effectively and specify layout constraints and guidelines required for high precision analog testing
  • Manufacturing process to better understand the process / IP interactions
  • Microcontrollers: digital/analog functions
  • Ability to work in an international environment (Europe, Asia, USA) with different groups (Architecture, IC Design, Analog Library, Applications, Marketing, Product and Test Engineering).
