successful candidate for this position will be responsible for the
design, implementation and unit test of real-time embedded software
for target launch vehicles. This may include the development of
software requirement specifications and design documentation as
well as participating in software process activities such as peer
reviews, integration testing, and software configuration
management. The development will range from modifying/maintaining
existing software baselines to new design and implementation.The
ideal candidate shall possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer or
Software Engineering with a minimum of three (3) years of embedded
software development experience.Required Qualifications:
- Object Oriented (OO) software development experience with the
C++ programming language
- Experience in embedded real-time software development, debug
and test
- Experience with real time operating systems (RTOS) environments
including VxWorks, LynxOS or equivalent
- Able to communicate openly and effectively with teammates,
other engineering disciplines and customer representatives as a
team player
- The ability to obtain a security clearanceDesired
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Linux software development tools and cross
compilers
- Active Secret Clearance
- Agile scaled framework experience using tools such as Atlassian
Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Experience with PowerPC processors (e.g. PPC750, MPC8280)
- Interrupt Service Routine, Device Driver, and chip level
software development and debugging experience
- Experience with digital communication protocols (Ethernet,
UART, HDLC, CAN, I2C, etc)
- Working knowledge of hardware/software analysis tools
(debuggers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, emulators, etc)
- Experience with spacecraft or launch systems software
developmentMinimum Qualifications:2 Years Experience with a
Bachelors DegreeSalary Range: $1 USD - $1 USD Employees may be
eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual
bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as
allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice
President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
