About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business
Execution Consultant to support Technology Regulatory Change
Management. Technology Regulatory Change Management is responsible
facilitating end-to-end regulatory change and adherence monitoring
for Technology. This includes Major Compliance Requirement (ADA,
GLBA, HIPAA, etc.) and other key Authoritative Sources and Industry
Standards (FFIEC, PCI DSS, COBIT, NIST, and International
regulations). The candidate will need to be able to quickly
interpret these types of sources to drive discussions with
Independent Risk Management, Compliance, and Legal Partners to
review and determine applicability. As source applicability is
confirmed, the candidate will be responsible for working with key
stakeholder to map authoritative sources to policies, processes,
and control for both technology and information security processes
to demonstrate regulatory coverage. This will require and
understanding of the core regulations and the required controls.
This role requires an understanding of technology processes. The
team member is responsible for facilitating the review of
new/revised regulatory requirements, identifying potential gaps,
helping to determine the appropriate course of action to close
identified gaps, and monitoring and reporting of gaps through
closure. The review, assessment, and gap remediation process
requires strong analytical skills, and an ability to build
relationships necessary to collaborate across key stakeholder
groups to drive decisions.In this role, you will:
- Lead support functions or operations for multiple business
groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives
- Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions,
and pipeline management relating to assigned operations
- Research moderately complex business, operational, and
strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic
knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and
understanding of international business
- Work independently to make recommendations for support function
by providing support and leadership
- Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs
and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and
customer experience
- Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project
plans, policies and procedures
- Provide leadership in management of relationships and
implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross
functional business partnersRequired Qualifications, US:
- 4+ years of Management consulting, Strategy Consulting, or
Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through
one or a combination of the following: work experience, training,
military experience, education
- 4+ years of Risk Management or Financial Services Industry
experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a
combination of the following: work experience, training, military
experience, educationDesired Qualifications:
- Ability to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet
aggressive time frames
- 3+ years of risk and regulatory compliance experience
- Knowledge and understanding of technology processes and
technologies
- Knowledge and understanding of risk management
- Experience authoring and presenting material to an executive
audience related to compliance with regulations and/or policies,
with an ability to prepare management-level reporting
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management
skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and
accuracy
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
- Understanding of Wells Fargo's Risk Management Framework,
and/or other technology and security risk frameworks. Including,
but not limited to: COBIT, FFIEC IT Handbooks, NIST, ITIL, COSO,
BASEL, and OCC Heightened Standards.Job Expectations:
- Review new/revised authoritative sources for applicability to
technology.
- Serve as point of contact for assigned coverage area regarding
the inventory of technology applicable authoritative sources, and
as subject matter expert on our regulatory change management
processes.
- Facilitate mapping of new/revised authoritative sources to
policies/standards, processes and controls (where appropriate) with
key stakeholders.
- Host review and challenge sessions for completed mappings with
key stakeholders and obtain appropriate approvals prior to
submission to Independent Risk Management partners.
- Consolidate responses and submit completed/approved mappings to
Independent Risk Management Partners for load into approved system
of record.
- Escalate identified coverage gaps through reporting
routines.
- Author status reporting for executive leadership on high impact
authoritative sources.
- Execute monthly monitoring, reporting, and metrics for the end
to end process.
- Present in monthly status calls, forums, and/or councils, as
needed.
- Support key initiatives to drive overall regulatory adherence.
