Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapistthisschool year for a contract position located inOracle, AZ.Job Description:25/26 SYFor children 2.9 + (preschool):20 hours per weekRequest for evaluations will be made by the Special Education Director only.The preschool special education case manager will obtain authorization from the Special Education Director prior to the therapists participation in evaluations and/or IEP development. IEP information will be entered in IEP PRO prior to the meeting date. The IEP is to be signed within 10 days of origination.Signed/updated progress reports will be provided to the case manager by the first Monday following the end of each quarter.Provide school-based therapy as described in students IEPs:Direct occupational therapy services will be provided for students with delays which impair their abilities to successfully access their academic environment.Indirect/consultative services will be provided in an integrative team approach such that the paraprofessionals and teachers can carry out daily activities as prescribed by the occupational therapist and/or appropriate strategies and modifications can be provided for the students ongoing needs.For students K-8:Participate in the development of IEPs. IEP information will be entered in IEP PRO prior to the meeting date.
