Description At World View, the Warehouse Technician is responsible
for supporting the maintenance of inventory in the warehouse,
receiving and shipping, and kitting for the Production team. This
person is regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods
of time. The environment is fast paced and demanding most of the
time. No travel requirements for this position. Role
Responsibilities · Maintains an accurate inventory at all times,
including count, bin location, labeling, etc. · Receives shipments.
Verifies packing slips to materials delivered, unpacks, stocks, and
transfers products to the correct department. · Maintains proper
documentation of inventory and records. · Assists in packing and
labeling shipments to ensure they leave the facility within time
constraints. · Works with Quality Assurance to ensure that incoming
products meet specifications. · Works with Purchasing to
communicate shipment discrepancies to vendors and packages Return
to Vendor (RTV or RMA) with all needed documentation. · Maintains
min/maxes to determine fulfillment needs. · Pulls work orders for
kitting as needed to support the flight manifest and production
demand. · Monthly cycle counting and yearly physical inventory
audit. · Maintains a tidy and clean warehouse. · Proactively
tracks, reports and provides updates to management on critical
issues and risks · Proactively collaborate, as needed, with other
functions, including Procurement, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing,
and Engineering · Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications · Must have a high school diploma or GED ·
Proficiency with MS Excel spreadsheets · Proven experience using
ERP systems · Basic arithmetic skills · A keen attention to detail
· Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions ·
Ability to solve routine problems independently · May require
lifting up to 75lbs · Flexible to changes in business activities
and priorities, able to adapt quickly and redirect
efforts/resources · Ability to establish and maintain effective,
