TransForce, an esteemed leader in driver staffing solutions, is looking for dedicated and professional CDL A Drivers for local routes. These positions focus on dry van and flatbed deliveries, requiring a commitment to safety and on-time service. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the efficiency of our clients' operations, ensuring that goods are delivered in a timely and secure manner. This role includes adherence to compliance standards and engagement in proactive communication with dispatch and management. Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination including flatbeds and dry vans. Load, secure, and unload goods in compliance with company policies and DOT regulations. Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair statuses, adhering to federal and state regulations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes efficiently and communicate effectively with dispatch to ensure customer satisfaction. Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times. Proficiency in operating flatbed and dry van trailers. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards. Effective communication skills. Ability to maneuver and park vehicles in congested areas. Skill in managing routes and logistics efficiently.
