The Regional IDN is responsible for developing and executing specific strategic plans within assigned IDN/ACO systems resulting in increased provider and patient access, and increased sales within assigned systems. Regional IDN's will achieve these critical objectives via establishing and maintaining strong internal and external contacts, creating and executing system specific plans, and effectively utilizing and deploying corporate resources.Responsibilities

High knowledge base of the IDN formularies, product, payers, supply chain systems, specialty pharmacy fulfillment, and OL (Opinion Leader)
Serves as a quarterback working collaboratively with other functional areas to identify and respond to opportunities and customer needs. Does so by serving as a resource within one's region and by leveraging the expertise of others (e.g., Managed Markets ADs, Medical Affairs, Sales Operations, etc.). For select HCP/Accounts, leads/coordinates with customer team to develop customer strategy - outlining strategy for interactions/relationship and potential offerings for the customer
Exceed sales expectations and develop new sales opportunities within aligned accounts and local geographies surrounding aligned accounts.
Sets ambitious performance objectives that support the achievement of business targets. Provides ongoing feedback and updates to all cross functional counterparts.
Develop and execute an entrepreneurial strategic plan that builds strategic partnerships as well as delivers financial growth. Uses analytic frame work to identify issues and opportunities, and consistently incorporates new perspectives and ideas. Effectively and efficiently manages resource allocation, including trade-off decisions, across customers and representatives.
Partner with C-Suite executives (CEO/COO/CMO/SVP) of strategic customer accounts to create mutually beneficial business relationships while uncovering key opportunities for growth, and adapting activities to fit local dynamics.
Routinely monitors all pertinent data sets and changes plan/tactics appropriately. Develops a plan to maximize the performance impact and the utilization of resources to support appropriate usage of abaloparatide.
Maintains current understanding of key local market/practice structures, business models, and key influencers. Works with appropriate customers at accounts to understand practice structure, business model, key influencers, network structure, customer needs and identifies business opportunitiesLead cross-functional teams to evaluate market activity, identify key opportunities, and develop specific market objectives and tactics that optimize business performance for excelled sales performance
Develop, negotiate and implement innovative contracts to support brand strategies and coordinate pull-through activities to support access opportunities and challenges.
Monitor competitive environments in accounts and make changes accordingly, and coordinate with relevant commercial field team members
Assists in strategic analyses of their local customers; uncovering key opportunities for growth, and adapting payer strategy to fit local dynamics.   • Must have strong sense of self-motivation/initiative, excellent decision-making judgment, strong teaming/collaboration skills (across functions) and the ability to learn and adapt to environment in order to overcome obstacles. Must be resilient and adaptable - - ability to recover from setback and problems and learn from mistakes
  • Ability to lead in complex, cross functional teams and build strategic long term partnerships.
  • Minimum of 7 years pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience (prior TA or biologics experience highly desirable), must have field sales management, institutional sales, and/or managed markets experience.
  • Experience working with CMS Quality Measures and Outcomes, Specialty Pharmacies, Distribution Hubs, and Managed Care providers to ensure customers' and patients' needs are addressed
  • Demonstrated success in translating vision and strategy into tactical plans to drive business; ability to develop and execute localized strategic plans
  • Experience interacting with KOLs or high influence customers in large group practices, hospitals or managed care organizations
  • Effective communication, presentation, and decision-making skills (particularly in resource allocation) Exceptional ability to clearly communicate and articulate strategy and tactics in a way that motivates and energizes customer team
  • Thorough understanding of customer segments and area market dynamics within all therapeutic areas. Strong business analytic skills and ability to effectively analyze metrics to assess progress against objectives
  • Manages all aspects of required administration work and delivers in a timely fashion.
  • College degree; and prefer some prior experience in other commercial functions (e.g. Marketing, Managed Markets, Operations, Training, etc.).
  • Must live within 45 minutes of a major airport and willing to travel up to 60% of the time.
