Our Chandler based manufacturing company is seeking an
experienced and reliable Production Worker II with industrial
sewing machine experience.
Production Worker II / Industrial Sewing Machine Operator is
responsible for performing production work to applicable
performance standards. Working effectively in a team environment,
the Production Worker II will start up, operate, tend, and stop
industrial sewing equipment while maintaining a safe and clean
working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and
regulations. Production Worker II will troubleshoot minor sewing
machine issues and assist other employees on the manufacturing
processes while inspecting their sewn production parts. Production
Worker II will use their authority to stop a non-confirming part or
product by notifying their Supervisor or Quality Inspector as soon
as possible. This position follows standard work methods and
practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and
safe as possible.
The Production Worker I must demonstrate cognitive ability to,
follow directions and routines, work independently with appropriate
judgment, exhibit spatial awareness, read words and numbers,
concentrate, memorize, and recall, identify logical connections and
determine sequence of response and process up to 2-3 steps ahead.
Ability to attend work on a regular, predictable and consistent
basis and to commute to and from work safely and arrive at work on
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be
sitting in air conditioned production area in recently purchased
chairs. This role is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use
hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must
also be able to safely lift up to 49 pounds or less occasionally
during the 8-10 hour shift.
