Job Summary:

Performs final, in-process or receiving inspections, audits and other quality processes according to specifications and build requirements.

Principal Responsibilities:

* May assist engineering with the review of customer, industry and other technical specifications to ensure compliance. * Conducts random, scheduled and/or unscheduled audits to determine conformance to customer specifications and technical drawings, manufacturers' specifications, assembly manual requirements, company processes and procedures and other such specifications and requirements. * May perform root cause analyses by inspecting and evaluating material returns, reviewing documentation, interviewing employees and assessing conformance to quality assurance standards to determine the cause of defects, malfunctions or process breakdowns. * Maintains data and logs data quality, returned material, supplier information, nonconformance to build procedures, errors, findings and recommendations to use for trend analyses. * Prepares required product return documentation to supplier for failure analysis and monitors corrective action response. * May coordinate or assist in developing and maintaining all International Organization for Standardization (ISO) system documentation, including work instructions and departmental policies and procedures. * Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics. * May perform drawing, specification and other technical documentation review. * Other duties as assigned.

Able to establish priorities and manage time to complete work. * Collaboration with other departments or teams may be required to perform role. May frequently respond to requests from others, internally or externally. * Impact of decisions may affect the department. Errors may result in loss of time, resources and/or customer satisfaction.

Work Experience:

* Typically requires a minimum of two years of related experience.

Education and Certification(s):

* High School Diploma or equivalent

Distinguishing Characteristics:

* Position may require travel * Strong Excel Skills (Complex - formulas, tables, pivots, charts, etc.) * Strong Data Analysis (Accuracy, Trends, Excel, Databases) * Strong Power BI Skills * Familiarity with Avnet structure (nice to have for communication purposes) * Presentation (PowerPoint) * Document Control (Word, Visio, SharePoint) * Audit Experience (nice to have, but not a must) * Experience working in ISO Certified environment (nice to have, but not a must) * Corrective & Preventive Action Skills (nice to have, but not a must) * Excellent Communication (Bi-lingual Spanish - nice to have, but not a must) * with Internal Customers * with Leadership

* Listening Skills * Interpersonal skills (reliable, positive, teamwork, collaborative, customer and supplier focused, etc.) * Writing: * able to adjust based on audience * clear and understandable

* Can work independent and collaborative (situational) * Self-motivated to drive results to a goal * Organized * Receptive to Feedback (opportunity rather than criticism)
