In this role, you will jockey trailers from loading area to
storage. You'll place a lightweight plastic liner in empty trailers
and operate a press that will load the trailer. You'll climb a
ladder and use a rake to distribute to load, drive to the loaded
staging area, and pick up an empty trailer returning it to the
loading area. Your conduct regular inspections of trailers and
equipment and you'll complete inspection forms and manifests.
We're supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation. This position
will work regularly scheduled shifts from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. 3
days on/4 days off; then 4 days on/3 days off. This will entail
working any holidays that fall within your regular schedule. You
will have every other weekend off.
Basic required qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
Possess a CDL A license
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and hazardous materials
Ability to read, write, and understand English
Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as Tyvek
coveralls, protective goggles, hard hat, and respirator
This job entails climbing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Working both indoors and outside, you'll need to be able to work in
all climate conditions.
