The Tech SMO will serve as the lead in definition, implementation, governance, reporting and maturation of core service management practices including Service Portfolio Management, Service Catalog Management, Service Design and Service Level Management. -Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Establish framework, processes, controls, performance metrics, roles and responsibilities, and procedures for -
  • Technical Service Lifecycle Delivery Management -
  • Technical Service Catalog Management -
  • Technical Service Portfolio Management
  • Technical Service Level Management
  • Define and operationalize lean, automation based governance practices to identify, qualify, onboard Technical Services, ensure currency of service catalog, periodic assessment of service portfolio.
  • Collaborate with key technology stakeholder to identify right set of policies and controls to govern services throughout their lifecycle - from strategy inception to retirement.
  • Participate as member of Technical Service Steering Committee member to inform and educate the committee and drive decisions.
  • Partner with Technology Service providers across the technology organization to ensure core service management practices are implemented within their respective areas.
  • Serve as thought leader in IT Service Management domain and promotes Service Oriented culture. -Required Qualifications
    • 10+ years of technology experience
    • 2+ years of experience building and managing IT Service Management service portfolios or catalogs
    • 3+ years of Agile experience
    • 3 + years of experience leading and executing complex technology transformational programs across an enterpriseDesired Qualifications
      • Experience managing large technology development efforts within a major line of business
      • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
      • 2+ years of ServiceNow experience in one or a combination of the following: building, implementing, maintaining platform technologies
      • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
      • Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environmentOther Desired Qualifications
        • Qualifications such as ITIL Expert Practitioner, IT4IT Foundation
        • Basic understanding of Cloud Service Provider delivery models and best practices -Job Expectations
          • Ability to work outside of regular business hours
          • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
