Job Description:The Mechanical Superintendent will be responsible for system design, configuration and implementation of Mechanical Systems for the semiconductor industry. The Superintendent must have facilities management expertise in all of the following project phases: implementation (construction), testing and on-site, and startup of Exhaust Systems, Chillers, Boilers, Compressors, Pumps, and HVAC.Implementation support of the construction of mechanical and process system modificationsDaily interface with construction personnel and facilities engineers and other technicians to coordinate project work Ensure equipment and overall system OAT/FAT process meets expectationsFinal mechanical QA/QC on installations as compared to the design documentsOversee and direct construction projects from conception to completionResponsible for overseeing all Area SuperintendentsReview the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costsBudget review and trackingMake sure all safety regulations are upheldCoordinate with purchasing and vendors for the timely delivery of equipmentMeet contractual conditions of performancePrepare internal and external reports pertaining to job statusEnsure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniquesAttend and participate in various daily construction meetingsRequirements:Minimum 5 years industry and/or mechanical trade experienceMinimum 2 years Semiconductor Industry experienceUnderstanding of overall system installation from a construction implementation standpointTroubleshooting of field devices and control hardware and softwareStrong understanding of HVAC equipment and CHW and HW process systems and operationMust have experience with all types of mechanical instrumentation including flow, pressure, temperature, humidity, control valves, AFDs etc. installation and applicationAbility to pass required drug screening and background checkThis is a safety sensitive position; ability to maintain the appropriate standards is requiredMSR-FSR is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.PM20 Powered by JazzHRPI185750602
