Responsibilities:
A patient sitter associate is an entry level position assisting nurses in direct patient care activities. The position provides 24 hour coverage making observations of any problems the patient may be experiencing while assuring patient safety in the designated hospital clinical units. Under the direct supervision of the nurse, the candidate must demonstrate ability to quickly make decisions to report changes in patient conditions/situations. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with Dignity Health's mission and policies around safe patient care. -Located in the City of Chandler, Az, -a suburb of Phoenix, -this position is critical to the success of Chandler Regional Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of -Dignity Health.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required.Customer Service & Effective Listening skills required.BCLS (AHA) Certification required. -Preferred:Experience in healthcare desired.
