history.Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality
evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing
materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure
quality standards are in place. Devises and implements methods and
procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and
accuracy of products and production equipment. Designs and analyzes
inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment;
conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis
to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for,
products or materials that do not meet required standards and
specifications. Audits quality systems for deficiency
identification and correction. Ensures that corrective measures
meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is
compliant with requirements. May specialize in the areas of design,
incoming material, production control, product evaluation and
reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as
they apply to product or process quality. May be certified in lean
and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.This role will
manage our Cable and Advanced Design Group Quality Team. This team
includes a total of 30 plus direct reports derived of Quality
Engineers, Quality Analysts, and Quality Inspectors. Manager
function will be responsible to ensure that we meet all customer
quality requirements, including commercial and government
contracts. Manager will ensure that all Quality metrics are
measured and monitored and report progress on a monthly basis.
These metrics will include items such as Hardware Acceptance Review
statuses, Product Escapes, Product First Pass Yield, First Articles
statuses, MES Instruction reviews/approvals, Drawing
reviews/approvals, non conformance reporting, corrective action
reporting, continuous improvement activities, and performance
review management.Basic Qualifications:Minimum of 9 years related
experience w/ BS degree. With MS degree 7 yearsSalary Range:
$102,500 USD - $153,700 USD Employees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including
