Two-year enlistments are available for certain jobs (MOS)

Up to $50,000 sign-on-bonus for high demand Army jobsRequires joining the US Army - $50k Sign-on Bonus -Get a foot in the door into the Intelligence CommunityZero experience, training or education necessary to apply. - - -The Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Voice Interceptor and Army Linguist performs and supervises detection, acquisition, geolocation, identification, and exploitation of foreign communications at all echelons using SIGINT collection and analysis systems in conjunction with the National Security Agency (NSA).

  • The SIGINT Voice Interceptor copies, translates, transcribes, gists and/or produces summaries of foreign communication transmissions.
  • Contributes to Information Collection (IC) synchronization to support mission requirements and conducts basic Intelligence Oversight in support of SIGINT operationsSIGINT Voice Interceptors attend the Defense Language Institute at Presidio of Monterey, CA for immersive language training as well as in-country immersion aimed at a minimum of 2/2/1+ on the IRL scale. -If applicant already listens/reads/speaks a language, IE: Korean, Russian, Iraqi, they can skip DLI attendance and proceed to AIT. -Further internship opportunities with the NSA include:
    • Middle Enlisted Cryptologic Career Advancement Program (MECCAP)a. -The Middle Enlisted Cryptologic Career Advancement Program (MECCAP) is a three year work/study program designed to further develop the technical and managerial skills of selected middle-career enlisted personnel through advanced formal training and individually planned operational assignments at the National Security Agency (NSA).

        • a. -The Middle Enlisted Cryptologic Career Advancement Program (MECCAP) is a three year work/study program designed to further develop the technical and managerial skills of selected middle-career enlisted personnel through advanced formal training and individually planned operational assignments at the National Security Agency (NSA).
        • Objectives of MECCAP are:
          • (1) -Increase each participants knowledge and skills in his/her cryptologic discipline and related disciplines through extensive training.
          • (2) -Provide commanders with a cadre of highly technically qualified middle-career cryptologic personnel.
          • (3) -Assist the participants in advancing their professional education in the NSA/CSS Military Cryptologic Continuing Education Program (MCCEP
          • National Intelligence University (NIU) Master of Science of Strategic Intelligence (MSSI) and Master of Science and Technology Intelligence (MSTI)
            • a. -The National Intelligence University (NIU) Master of Science of Strategic Intelligence (MSSI) and Master of Science and Technology Intelligence (MSTI) full-time programs coursework is designed to prepare students for a higher level of responsibility in the Intelligence Community. -The degrees require completion of 43 credits, including the Masters Thesis. The curriculum has been developed to strengthen Intelligence as a profession and combines core courses with electives. The core curriculum is designed for students to develop global awareness and understand how historical, economic, cultural, political, and social contexts affect Intelligence and National Security. Elective courses provide students the opportunity to explore four strategic areas in more detail: Military Strategy, Intelligence Community Issues and Management, Transitional Threats, and the Geostrategic Environment. Students have the option of pursuing a concentration in Science and Technology Intelligence. The thesis is the final requirement for the degree and may be classified or unclassified. Selectees will conduct a permanent change of station to Fort Jackson, with duty at NIU campus.
              • (1) -Develop highly qualified middle and senior Military Intelligence personnel.
              • (2) -Provide the participants with an in-depth understanding of the overall Intelligence Community.Requirementsa. Eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearanceb. Between the ages 17-34c. Submit to a background and medical screeningd. US citizen
                • If you arent fluent in a foreign language will attend training at the Defense Language Institute for 16 to 25 months prior to attending Advanced Individual Training
