The CS US EUV Installs Generalist anticipates and solves problems
from 1st or 2nd line support. The generalist builds the problem
solving capacity within the group by upskilling local engineers.
The generalist demonstrates ability to path find solutions which
are outside the norm using knowledge from inside and outside the
own domain, in order to support manufacturing and servicing ASML
systems. This position requires access to controlled technology, as
defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730,
et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access
such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business
demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are
immediately eligible to access controlled technology. Role and
responsibilities The EUV Install Generalist is expected to support
assembly and qualification of the machine on site, according to
procedure in a pre-defined sequence and support unexpected
circumstances as they arise. Build, install and align components to
a complete machine.
Install ASML equipment (NXE) at customer locations, including
equipment with new features, pilot and proto systems.
Analyze applicability, accuracy and adherence to design
Recommend design changes or substitution of materials when
Evaluate and diagnose problems and make appropriate repairs.
Work with coworkers and the customer in isolating and solving
Answer customer questions and assist customers in a professional
Perform administrative and coordination duties, including
pass-downs, work orders, field service reports, system problem
reports, and monthly reports.
Provide if appropriate support and assistance to less experienced
ASML or local personnel as necessary.
Perform complex adjustments, perform upgrades, diagnose and solve
problems with limited support.
Prepare written technical reports if required.
Education and experience Bachelor's Degree, preferably in
Engineering or Sciences, or equivalent experience. 3+ years'
