Job Description:

Gummi World is hiring a Business Development Manager to develop and grow our Nutraceutical market clientele. The BD Manager will be a key member of the team as we work to build an agile business complimenting Gummi World's leadership in the nutraceutical industry. The Business Development Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams (Technical Service, and Sales account management) to develop business and independently negotiate supply agreements with customers to maximize our profitability.As a Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:+ Maintaining and growing the existing revenue and profitability. Help increase speed to market on new products introductions.+ Generating new business by developing new sales opportunities and converting opportunities into revenue. Growing the opportunity pipeline in the territory to ensure a reliable stream of future new business. Prospecting to find new potential customers.+ Negotiating pricing and contracts with customers and managing the development, accuracy, and delivery of those contracts.+ Building deep relationships with R Formulators, Quality, Marketing, and Procurement to increase our ingredient sales and meet volume, revenue, profit targets and specialty product growth.+ Gaining a deep understanding of US nutraceutical market needs and trends, helping to build organization's competitive intelligence and identifying new products fitting our strategy.+ Performing administrative tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, call reports, monthly reports, price letters and expense reports. Update the CRM system with customer contacts, activity reports, adding new and updating pipeline opportunities and entering market intelligence.+ Directing company resources to support sales efforts and promote customer satisfaction.Preferred candidates will have:+ Bachelor's degree in a technical field biology, chemistry or equivalent experience in the industry+ Minimum 1-2 years industry experience and ingredient knowledge in the nutraceutical space+ Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and curiosity of product technical features+ Proven track record of managing and penetrating accounts and delivering results.+ Experience managing distributors and setting financial and growth goals, training programs, pursuing target accounts and providing support as needed.+ Solid negotiation skills and strong organizational and time management skills.+ Demonstrated ability to build and leverage strong relationships to generate sales & profitability.+ Proven record of growing revenue and managing financial dealings with customers.+ Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate many complex activities / projects simultaneously.+ Solid presentation skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.+ Team player with an ability to lead activities of a cross-functional team to deliver results.+ Strong computer skills (Word, Excel and Power Point), salesforce.com knowledge a benefit.Benefits and Perks:+ Competitive salary + ESOP bonus+ 401K Up to 4% matching+ 100% paid medical, dental, and vision insurance+ 3 Weeks PTOPowered by JazzHR
