Northrop Grumman Space Systems is currently seeking an Engineer Systems as part of the T4 Systems Engineering Integration & Test team in our Chandler, AZ office. Role Description & Responsibilities: Serves as a Systems Engineer for the T4 Program requiring the candidate to function in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment Should possess strong technical problem solving, written and verbal communication skills to generate and document system level launch vehicle requirements, perform vehicle performance assessments and participate in system level verification/data review activities Expected to regularly interface with program management, engineering staff and external customers Should be willing to occasionally work during odd hours (nights/weekends) and occasionally longer than normal (> 40 hrs/wk) to meet deadlines Should possess a strong resolve to drive tasks to completion autonomously Implements and manages system requirements in the Requirements Management databases (DOORS) Provides data for and assists in risk management (identifies potential risks) and trade study processes Supports system design, data analyses, interface verification, testing, and failure/anomaly resolution Supports the testing and/or evaluation/validation of one or more components of a system or subsystem analytical model or actual system implementation Prepares and presents materials at program major milestone meetings Basic Qualifications: 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of related work experience Candidate must have the ability to obtain DoD Secret level security clearance which generally requires US Citizenship as a prerequisite Ability to travel is required ( Preferred Qualifications: A strong experienced-based and academic foundation in Systems Engineering fundamentals is desired Experience with Northrop Grumman Space Systems LVBU Systems Engineering standards/guidelines and expectations is desired Experience with external customer interfacing (meetings, presentation, negotiation) is desired System testing and launch operations experience is desired Experience with Agile, Jira, and Scrum is desired Salary Range: $71,100 USD - $106,700 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
