CHANDLER CARE CENTER DIRECTORSALARY: SUPPORT EXEMPTJob GoalThe
Parent Program Coordinator ensures proper implementation of the
Chandler CARE Center's Family Resource Center (FRC) programming,
including providing information and resources; leading and
assisting with parenting activities; providing referrals one-on-one
with families; conducting outreach and recruitment; leading or
assisting with workshops and partner coordination; and contract
management including data and budget tracking and reporting.This is
a grant-funded position, following a 12-month work calendar of July
1 - June 30. Applicants for this position should be aware that the
role requires availability for a half-day morning shift an
estimated 6 (six) Saturdays each year and some evening hours
throughout the year.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in
early childhood development, education, family studies, social work
or a related fieldHave at least two years of professional
experience working with families with children birth to age
5Knowledgeable of the stages of child development, developmental
milestones and age-appropriate expectations of children birth to
age 5Ability to speak, read, and write English and Spanish
fluentlyWillingness to foster collaborative relationships and work
in a team environment, including both fostering a positive
environment with colleagues and with partner agenciesSelf-guided
and organized with ability to work independentlyExcellent computer
skills, including proficiency in standard software programs (Word,
Excel, Outlook)Valid AZ Driver's License and willingness to use
personal vehicle when neededSatisfactory background check and
current fingerprint clearance card (or willingness to obtain card
before beginning employment)Additional Preferred Skills and
Qualifications:Experience and desire to work with families of
diverse backgrounds, cultures and socio-economic statusKnowledge of
community resources preferredComfort with or willingness to learn
how to utilize Access database, social media platforms, Canva, and
other relevant computer-based toolsCore Job Functions:Lead or
assist with program planning, implementation, and coordination
including scheduling, facilitating, and teaching early childhood
and parenting programs at the CARE Center and CUSD schools;Provide
general programmatic oversight and reporting for FRC activities and
funding/grants;Collect and input demographic information, maintain
resource libraries, and assist with program evaluation;Provide
general budget tracking and reporting for any contract and/or
funding related to role;Conduct targeted outreach within the
Chandler community and participate in community outreach events
(weekends and evenings may be included);Work with in-house and
community partners to facilitate referrals, plan events, share
information, and develop partnerships;Maintain positive and
supportive professional relationships with families served in the
FRC, colleagues and partners, guided by CUSD's organizational
culture values of inclusiveness, respect, equity, and
inclusion;Attend meetings and participate in coalitions,
collaborations, and workgroups as requested by the
Director;Complete required training related to the position and
required by funder(s) and employer;Provide support and assistance
to other program areas within the CARE Center as directed.Perform
