Description:
National GA-based firm that is starting to build a presence in Phoenix. They have recently won a ton of work at Intel for projects including process air piping, copper stainless steel replacement, and other structural steel-based projects. This Scheduler will be his go-to person as they build up their team here.
Main Responsibilities:

  Building the schedule out for the installation of project, fabrication, and material delivery
  
  
• 
  After the scheduling portion is complete, they can focus on maintenance and project engineer-related tasks
  
  
• 
  Primarily responsible for assisting in all aspects of project management including planning, scheduling, procurement and staffing multiple projects across the country insuring successful achievement of safety, profitability and schedule objectives. This is a hands-on role and will require an individual who is willing to get into the details, travel into the field, and spend time in our shop to ensure we are creating value for our customers and stakeholders.

  Working closely with our project managers and customers at various levels of executive and field management, establish schedules, manage documentation requirements, safety protocols, site logistics, personnel co-ordination at site meetings in the field and over the phone through regular interaction.

  Work Environment
  Office trailer will be set up in Chandler at Intel campus. Will be working with the design team in Georgia who will be handling fabrication. Will be working a lot locally with the superintendents and foremen.
  The main bulk of the work starts in August so before then will be working to put together work packages and RFIs. Will be able to do some of this work remotely.

    Proficient in Primavera (P6) Software, MS Project Procore, Ability to learn new software.

    Can read and understand plans, drawings, and specifications.

    During job site visits, recognize areas of concern and potential improvements to schedule sequencing.
    
    
  • 
    Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling software, and implementation.
    
    
  • 
    Strong knowledge of work activity sequence, durations, and critical path method.
    
    
  • 
    Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
