Our System Design Solutions (SDS) business within Synopsys Design Group provides design services related to tool, methodology, design creation, verification and implementation to enable leading edge customers to complete their most challenging IC design projects. Our customers range from industry leaders to start-ups, developing products for applications such as telecommunications, wireless, broadband, medical, aerospace, automotive, AI, and high performance computing. We work with customers needing as little as some specific design assistance along a particular skillset to as much as full turnkey designs from specification to parts.

We're looking for a RTL--design technical engineer--to join the team.
Does this sound like a good role for you?

In this role you will be interacting directly with potential customers and Synopsys teams to gather requirements, estimate effort, cost, schedules, design size and feasibility. You will also be planning RTL logic design and verification projects, including through initial synthesis with constraints and UPF development. Our senior engineer technical leaders direct project technical teams to execute these designs, mentor more junior engineers and interact with our implementation teams to ensure clean hand-offs and successful project outcomes. You will typically work both as individual contributor and as a project leader, depending on the size and scope of the project.

Key Qualifications

• Must excel in skill areas including RTL logic design, design verification, team work, customer focus, and communication
• Will have demonstrated experience as a senior technical contributor, planning and leading RTL logic design development projects
• Will have demonstrated experience in developing verification environments and performing complete verification on design blocks, sub-systems and full SoCs
• Must possess proven experience with customer interfacing and collaborative teamwork
• Will have proven experience contributing to multiple project tapeouts
• Must have hands-on experience with design of complex SOC designs
• Demonstrate intimate knowledge of the Synopsys tools, flows and methodologies required to execute design projects
• Will be able to travel on occasion for short periods of time, and occasionally work on-site at customer premises as required
• Requirements: BS with 8-10 yrs relevant experience. MS with 7+ yrs relevant experience
• This position may include assignment to government contracts. Consequently, the ability to obtain government security clearances and/or other work clearances is preferred and will be required in the event of assignment to government contract work --
