Join the Space revolution and make the impossible, possible. LMDS has an opening for a Principal Cost Estimating Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Chandler, Arizona. The Principal Cost Estimating Analyst will perform all program management activities necessary to ensure on time delivery of hardware and services, within budget and specifications. Roles and Responsibilities: Estimates touch labor and material costs of manufacturing and engineering based on request for proposal (RFP) data submitted by prospective customers. Analyzes specifications, including sketches, blueprints, bills of material, or sample layouts, and calculates production costs using labor and material pricing schedules and historical data. Works with Programs to create Proposal Bill of Material. Evaluates Proposal BOM based on Sector Estimating System requirements for items to initiate requests for quote and Certified Cost and Pricing data for TINA items. Collects cost data from functional representatives, subcontractors, and vendors. Computes cost estimates of raw materials or subcontracted work and labor. Prepares cost reports and presents findings to management, contract personnel, proposal coordinators, customer representatives and price auditors. Creates and organizes Material Proposal package for review and submittal. Drives to resolution outstanding Price Analyses and Price Cost Analyses Reports for submitted proposals prior to customer negotiations. Conducts TINA Certification Sweeps for Material for Proposals including but not limited to: BOM updates, Material cost comparison, delta explanation, disclosures evaluation, and reports disclosures. Employee Discounts This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows an employee to work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday and take every other Friday off of work. Basic Qualifications- Attainment of one of the following years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Engineering a. 4 years' experience with a Master's Degree in a Business and/or STEM (Science, Technology Engineering or Mathematics) b. 6 years' experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a Business and/or STEM (Science, Technology Engineering or Mathematics) c. 10 years' experience no degree US citizenship required. Must be able to obtain a secret clearance. Knowledge of MS Office, MS Project and MS Excel Preferred Qualifications- Supply Chain experience with DoD Experience with major subcontractors and Government procurement regulations a plus.
