Job Summary

This position is responsible for following established procedures and is directed under the supervision of licensed personnel. Functions as an assistant to the unit nurse manager nurses and patient care technicians without providing direct patient care.


We will train a highly motivated self starter!

Major Duties

Responsible for following all policies and procedures related to job duties infection control blood borne pathogens universal precautions OSHA CDC DOC and all related regulatory bodies.
Removal and proper disposal of lines dialyzer etc. post treatment.
Thoroughly disinfects machines chairs and station between patients and at the end of day.
Completes and maintains accurate tool and toxic counts per institutional policy if required.
Supervises dialysis porter with trash and laundry removal and performs these duties when needed or asked.
Performs scheduled disinfection of bicarb and acid jugs wands priming buckets machines bicarb tank etc. and documents.
Lab duties as assigned.
Unit errands as assigned.


Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Education High School diploma/GED
