Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Space Systems is searching for an experienced Logistics Support 3 to join the Launch Vehicle business unit in Chandler, AZ.The Logistics Support 3 prepares logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment, and related manuals to be deployed and stocked in support of the logistics function. Determines the required maintenance and repair materials for deployment. Modifies maintenance records, such as repair standards for equipment or components with greater complexity. Develops requests for equipment, components, repair parts, and related manuals and maintains related records. Tracks logistics materials and components to ensure that they are stored in the appropriate locations. Examines the impact of configuration changes on logistics deployment. The condition of equipment, components, and parts are recorded. Identifies the logistic support documentation, such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirements Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience
  • Work closely with a diverse group of property professionals responsible for capital assets, US Government Property and other Customer owned property.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace team environment and multi-task
  • Well organized, effective working independently as well as in a team environment,
  • Able to handle multiple assignments, possess good oral and written communication skills
  • Prepare equipment for shipment via truck
  • Organize tasks and time to ensure timely completion of all projects
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Able to lift 25 lbs.
  • US Citizen
  • Experience operating forklift Preferred Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of the Government Property
    • Working knowledge of Government Property documentation
    • Experience in packing flight hardware
    • Creating, processing, and shipping RMA partsIndividual Competencies:

Salary Range: $39,800 USD - $66,300 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
