Plans, organizes, directs and reports on all supplier
quality-related activities such as raw materials, packaging
materials, good manufacturing practices (GMP) service providers, as
well as contract manufacturers, and/or contract manufacturing and
laboratories to assure fulfillment of contract/purchase order
requirements. Translates engineering, manufacturing, and quality
requirements. Assures that customer quality-imposed technical
requirements are adhered to by supplier and that a quality system
is maintained. Conducts programs designed to improve supplier
performance, productivity, and process validation. Prepares,
maintains and reviews procurement quality assurance procedures to
assure compliance with customer and/or government requirements.
Reviews and analyzes corrective action reports and purchase orders
in an effort to reduce and eliminate defects. Monitors quality
control activities and systems at supplier and subcontractor
facilities, and maintains feedback loops. May administer a
certified supplier program or related programs in receiving
inspection. May also audit third party manufacturers, due diligence
and vendor selection process. May perform deviation investigations
into quality issues.
Job specific details, skills and requirements:
The GIDEP Alert team identifies and assesses the impact of Govt.
industry alerts on LVD products. The team's scope includes all
programs and products manufactured at the LVD division of NG. The
tasks involve the navigation of complex component and material
issues and concerns. The successful team member will have routine
interaction with Program Management, Engineers, and Analysts. The
job tasks are listed below:
Download all applicable GIDEP and SQIC alerts into the SPARTA
system.
Manage the Sparta system in regard to alert status, updates and
SPARTA
SPARTA data maintenance such as review and update data from QSTAR
PCN, PO search cage code review, Assembly load to SPARTA, Broker
review data maintenance.
Component and PN research to identify "where used" data for program
disposition and mitigation.
Component knowledge helpful in assessing risk mitigation
recommendations.
Track and monitor alert closure activity with programs and PMP
personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with 3 Years experience; Masters Degree with 1
year experience
Must be competent with excel spreadsheet manipulation
Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task between different
programs on mission assurance recommendations
US Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Costpoint and SPARTA
QA experience in receiving inspection
Salary Range: $66,600 USD - $99,800 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
