Job Summary
The Student Services Analyst will implement and coordinate a
retention program focused on supporting re-entry, adult, and
non-traditional students. The selected individual for hire will
promote retention and increased course completion rates of their
assigned caseload of students each semester through a variety of
strategies, outreach, and best practices, and may lead the work of
Peer Success Coaches and/or other personnel who support student
retention efforts across Student Affairs. The Student Services
Analyst will analyze and maintain program data, and utilize
assessment efforts to evolve the program over time.
Essential Functions
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two
years of student services or college teaching experience, or
experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating
programs.
OR
Associates Degree from a regionally accredited institution and four
years of student services or college teaching experience, or
experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating
programs.
OR
High School Diploma/GED and six years of student services or
college teaching experience, or experience coordinating,
administering, planning or evaluating programs.
Desired Qualifications
1. Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
2. Prior experience developing or leading retention strategies for
students at a community college or university.
3. Experience managing a caseload of students at a community
college or university.
4. Effective written communications skills (as evidenced by
application materials) & experience developing and delivering
presentations, trainings, or workshops
5. Experience applying adult learning theory (andragogy) in student
services.
