We are looking for a competent, reliable, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent Forklift Operator. This position involves working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be a key player in our team, ensuring that our goods are moved safely and efficiently, and that our warehouse operations run smoothly.Responsibilities:As a Permanent Forklift Operator, your main duties will include:1. Operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise around the warehouse.2. Maintaining the forklift equipment by troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, recommending repairs, and conducting safety checks.3. Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks and aircraft.4. Checking loads are secure and correctly placed.5. Stacking empty pallets and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.6. Complying with all company policies and legal regulations to ensure a safe and clean warehouse.7. Conducting physical inventories as required and maintaining inventory accuracy.8. Identifying damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies to the warehouse supervisor.Qualifications:To be considered for the Permanent Forklift Operator position, you will need the following:1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.2. Valid certification to operate forklifts.3. Proven ability to operate a forklift in a safe and controlled manner.4. Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical fitness.5. Strong understanding of warehouse data systems.6. Good understanding of health and safety regulations.7. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.8. High level of diligence and attention to detail.9. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying temperatures.10.
