Summary: As a Direct Energy Consultant, you play a crucial role in
guiding customers through the process of adopting solar energy.
Your responsibilities include a blend of technical expertise,
customer service, and sales skills to educate potential clients on
the benefits and logistics of installing solar panels.
Requirements:Responsibilities:Customer Education: Explain renewable
energy systems and resources to potential customers. Provide
information about solar energy, its advantages, and how it can
benefit their homes or businesses.Site Assessment: Visit potential
job sites to assess power needs, available space, and other
relevant factors. Determine the feasibility of installing solar
panels based on the location and requirements.Cost Analysis: Use
software tools to calculate the actual costs of installing solar
systems. Evaluate the rate of return on investment for clients
considering solar energy adoption.Sales and Presentations: Deliver
persuasive sales pitches and presentations to potential clients.
Highlight the features, financial savings, and environmental impact
of solar energy systems.Quoting and Proposals: Prepare customized
quotes for clients based on their specific needs. Clearly outline
the costs, financing options, and expected benefits.After-Sales
Support: Assist clients throughout the installation process.
Address any questions or concerns they may have and provide ongoing
support.Close leads and follow up with prospects using Elevation
tools, technologies, and lists.Arrange and coordinate meetings with
clients.Update client databases and maintain a personal log of your
contacts.Achieve minimum weekly, monthly, annual productivity and
sales goalsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional certifications related to solar energy are a plus.Strong
customer relations skills and the ability to deliver effective
sales pitches. Experience in sales or customer service is
beneficial.Basic knowledge of solar energy systems and their
components is beneficial.Proficiency with common office software
programs.Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts
to clients and answer their queries.Comfortable working with sales
quotas.Must be authorized to work in the United States.Equal
