This Database Analyst leads the planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's server-class databases. Consults with and advises senior management and multiple clients on high impact data or database management issues, influencing strategic direction. Handles and leads various large-scale or highly complex data/database management activities including one or more of the following: designing highly complex logical and/or physical databases; leading highly complex data modeling, mapping, integration, and capacity planning efforts; developing management policies, procedures and standards; and business requirements identification, analysis and development. Provides mentoring, guidance and general oversight to less experienced staff in a variety of database design, administration and/or modeling activities. Leads complex projects. Part of the responsibilities of working on this enterprise team involve various large-scale or highly complex data/database management activities including: Oracle Clusterware Administration tasks Database Infrastructure implementation and Maintenance Perform database environment capacity planning and availability management Perform centralized support for database compliance, database monitoring and other database utilities Consult with and advise senior management and application teams on high impact database solutions Perform production support as part of an on call pager rotation. Support Oracle database monitoring for Enterprise Database Management customers and business partners. Consults extensively with multiple application teams, to lead initiatives that could have Enterprise impact. Provide oversight, mentoring, and leadership to less experienced staff Required Qualifications7+ years of database design and administration experience7+ years of Oracle experience7+ years of UNIX experience Desired QualificationsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsOracle Certified 10g/11g DBAA BS/BA degree or higher in information technology Other Desired Qualifications 7+ years Oracle 12c database architecture, design and administration experience including: Database design, estimation and implementation experience Experience with ASM, & RAC Strong in analyzing how Oracle resources are being used during SQL executions Proven ability to troubleshoot and trace database related issues throughout the architecture Proven experience in utilizing performance tuning tools like Explain plan, AWR, Grid control or similar technologies. Understand and interpret the reports generated from tools and resolve performance issues. 7+ years of experience working with Linux or Unix system software 5+ years of experience with Dataguard and GRID Control Monitoring Technical working knowledge of Exadata solutions Technical working knowledge of Golden Gate or Oracle Replication solutions Technical working knowledge of layered products, networking concepts and storage system architectures and techniques Experience with Oracle upgrades, patching activities and patch level/release management Strong customer service focus Strong Linux perl scripting experience DisclaimerAll offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
